GOC: Room By Room

We get asked by lots of people where various items/features are from in our house, so I thought that I would put everything in the one place for your (and our) ease!!

You will notice that there are lots of items from IKEA and even Kmart throughout the house yet it manages, I hope, to not look cheap. My biggest recommendation, if you are fitting out your house on a budget or for a rental/Airbnb, would be to mix and match cheap furnishings with bespoke or more expensive items, decors and finishings. This means you aren’t spending a bomb, but people will focus more on the eye-catching unique pieces and the room doesn’t end up just looking like an IKEA catalog.

Sorry this post has taken so long, I have been promising it for quite some time but life has been happily getting in the way!

Out the front…

Our exterior paint: I’m going to start on a really disappointing note and say “we don’t know”! We get asked so often about what paint we went with, and we agree its a really nice white but we don’t know! SORRY!
